Special finishes

Our textile softeners give a very good, full and pleasant handle. They are widely used in the finishing of all kinds of woven and knitted fabrics, especially where a natural, soft and full handle is important.

Specialist silicone softeners that give textiles softness, smoothness and the right handle. They produce a range of sensory and surface effects, from a delicate, silky handle to more pronounced fullness, smoothness and slipperiness. Choosing the right product lets the effect be matched to the fibre type and the intended use of the material.

Products for improving the hydrophilic properties of textiles. They allow wettability, absorbency and the surface properties of the material to be shaped, while retaining the desired handle. They are used, among other things, in textiles where rapid absorption and distribution of moisture is important.

Specialist products for preparing textiles for the raising process. Our range includes products suitable as avivage agents before raising, for both natural and synthetic fibres. Sweatshirt fabric, fleece, flannel, luper, velour – softness and volume, a dense, full nap after raising.

These finishes help to obtain materials with the right form and behaviour, both during pleating (pleated blinds) and when the finished window coverings are in use.

Functionalising textiles with microcapsules containing fragrance or active substances (e.g. propolis, vitamin E, algae, caffeine, cooling agents). Microencapsulation allows the contents to be released gradually during use of the material. This produces textiles with additional sensory and active functions.
